The Ghana Football Association has assured all stakeholders following the suspension of the betPawa Ghana Premier League.
The league has been suspended till at least October 14, 2022 following an injunction placed by Ashanti Gold.
“The association wishes to urge all stakeholders – sponsors and partners and clubs who have invested in the league, players whose livelihood depends on the league, match officials, administrators, officials and supporters of the league and the clubs to remain calm.” the association said in a Thursday statement.

Ashanti Gold have also been further suspended by the GFA from participating in any competition.
