Black Stars midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, has explained his celebration style for Ajax recently following his great run of form.
Kudus has scored six times in his last five games for Ajax while also providing an assist during that time.
In recent times, Kudus has brought back the celebration of crossing his hands during his goal celebrations sparking questions to be asked.
Speaking to NOS, the Ghanaian midfielder explained the rationale behind that celebration.
“The reason for this is there are a lot of opinions and stuff that comes [towards us] in our [line of] work. So this means staying strong and blocking out negativity. That’s my understanding of it,” he said.
The midfielder was on target over the weekend as Ajax lost to AZ Alkmaar in the Eredivisie.
