Hamburg SV defender, Stephan Ambrosius has received a last-minute call-up to the Black Stars squad for their international friendlies against Mexico and the USA this month.
The 24-year-old has been brought in to replace the injured Daniel Amartey. Ambrosius is currently in camp in Charlotte, preparing for the two upcoming matches.
The former Germany U21 player completed his international switch to Ghana last year and made his Black Stars debut against Liberia at the Accra Sports Stadium last month.
Ghana will face Mexico on Saturday, October 14, at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, followed by a match against the United States of America on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee.
