The passionate supporters of Hearts of Oak have expressed their concerns to the club’s Board of Directors, urging them to take specific actions for the betterment of the team.
During the National Chapter Committee (NCC) Forum held at the Civil Service Auditorium in Accra last Saturday, over 190 delegates gathered to discuss pressing issues affecting the club and to strategize for the upcoming season. The forum marked the first time in four years that such a gathering took place.
The supporters made several demands, first calling for restraint on board members Vincent Sowah Odotei and Alhaji Brimah Akanbi from signing players for the club.
Instead, they requested the board to appoint a new coach of international reputation and give them the freedom to select players they believe will contribute significantly to the team’s success.
Moreover, the fans insisted that the appointed coach should have a specific role and full authority to choose players for matches, thus ensuring a coherent and effective team lineup.
