Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana says his countryman Mohammed Salisu is helping him to adapt at Southampton though the defender played no part in his decision to move to the club.
Sulemana hinted that Salisu is a great guy who is helping him to settle in England and they previously talked about the EPL in the Black Stars camp.
“Before coming here we talked in the national team,” said the winger. “We talked about the Premier League, we talked about everything.” Sulemana told his club’s media
“But before coming here he (Salisu) had nothing to do with the decision, I made that by myself. When I got here, he showed me around, and he’s still showing me around – we’re not done yet!”
“He’s a good guy and he’s helping me out here. When you’re close [to someone] you get to understand things a lot easier. I’m speaking to him and he’s guiding me through some stuff. It’s easier to understand when he’s been through it all.” He added
Sulemana joined Southampton from Rennes for 22 Million Pounds in January 2023 which is a club record.
