Swedru, Central Region – Female supporters of Swedru All Blacks have agreed to call off their planned naked protest following intervention by the town’s Traditional Authorities. The demonstration, aimed at pressuring the club to remove the head coach, will no longer take place.
The Traditional Authorities stepped in to mediate between the supporters and the club management, urging calm and dialogue. Their intervention led to an understanding that allows the coach to continue his duties without further disruption.
The female supporters expressed their willingness to give the coach time to work with the team and improve results. This resolution is seen as a positive step toward maintaining harmony within the club and the community.
The Swedru All Blacks management has welcomed the decision, emphasizing the importance of focusing on football development and avoiding actions that could tarnish the club’s image.
