Black Stars defender Tariq Lamptey expresses jubilation as he marks his 100th game milestone with English Premier League outfit Brighton and Hove Albion.
Lamptey, 23, joined Brighton from Chelsea in January 2020 and has been a consistent fixture despite injury setbacks.
His century of appearances was sealed with a substitute appearance in the 1-1 draw against Newcastle United.
“Tough point away from home. 100 games for Brighton and Hive Albion. Swipe to see the first. Thank you all for the support. Get back safe,” he wrote on Instagram after the game.
Lamptey’s return from injury is a timely boost for Ghana coach Otto Addo, ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Having switched allegiance to represent Ghana in 2022, Lamptey’s performance remains pivotal as he continues to deliver on the pitch with 17 appearances and three assists this season.
