English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion defender Tariq Lamptey has been handed his maiden Ghana call-up for September friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.
The 21-year-old who represented England at youth levels switched nationality to represent the Black Stars at senior level.
He has been named in the Ghana team for the upcoming Pre-World Cup friendly matches.
The Black Stars will play two matches in the September window as part of preparations towards the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 finals in November/December.
Ghana will play Brazil on Friday, September 23, at Stade Oceane in Le Harve- France before taking on Nicaragua at Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
