Tariq Lamptey got his first goal of the season as Brighton found the net against Arsenal in the Carabao cup on Wednesday evening.
Brighton were dominant in the evening, beating the Gunners 3-1 away from home.
Fellow Ghanaian Eddie Nketiah scored the opener for Arsenal but Danny Welbeck equalised from the spot minutes later.
Mitoma gave Brighton the lead in the second half and Lamptey made it three in the 71st minute.
Lamptey was added to Otto Addo’s 55-man provisional squad for the 2022 World Cup and is expected to make the final list.
