Brighton and Hove Albion’s Ghanaian defender, Tariq Lamptey, has been awarded a Porsche Centre Mid-Sussex for his outstanding performance as the club’s Player of the Month for October.
The 23-year-old showcased his skills throughout October, playing a crucial role in Brighton’s victory at Old Trafford and a comeback draw against Marseille.
Lamptey provided two assists in the 3-1 win at Old Trafford and played a key role in the 2-2 draw at the Stade Velodrome.
Despite being sidelined for over two weeks due to an injury sustained in the Marseille game in France, he is expected to make a comeback in the Europa League match against Ajax Amsterdam on Thursday.
Lamptey’s return from injury is a significant boost for the Black Stars as they prepare to begin their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, facing Madagascar and Comoros in their opening matches.
