Division One League Zone three side Tema Youth SC player Richmond Darko is confident his team will secure promotion despite losing to direct competitors, Liberty Professionals FC.

The youngster has been a pivot and a consistent performer for the Tema-based club in their quest to secure promotion into the Ghana Premier League next season.

In their top-of-the-league table clash on Wednesday afternoon, Tema Youth threw away a lead to succumb to a 2-1 defeat at home to the Panasonic Boys.

Despite the defeat, the young player looks and sounds confident of helping his team gain promotion at the end of the season.

“Sometimes by losing a battle you find a new way to win the war. We, Will, win the war”, he wrote on social media after the defeat to Liberty Professionals.
