Ghana’s first choice goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi is in ecstacy after his team’s season opener win at home in the Switzerland Super League on Saturday evening.
The Ghana shot stopper lasted the entire duration of the match to help the Green and Whites outfit as they won 2-1 on home soil aga giant FC Basel.
“Thank God for the victory, what a way to start the season. Amazing support from the fans, we keep going”, he wrote on social media after the game.
Though he failed to keep a clean sheet in the game, he made some good saves to help his side secure a vital home win to start the season.
