Forward Joseph Paintsil has thanked Ghanaians for their immense support for the Black Stars team on Thursday evening at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The KRC Genk hitman couldn’t be hide his excitement after the supporters came in their numbers to offer an unflinching support to the team.
“Thank you Ghana , thank you Kumasi , you turned up massively for us yesterday”, he Tweeted.
Paintsil came on as a second-half substitute and was a delight to watch throughout the minutes he spent on the field of play for the Black Stars team.
He was fouled late in the game which led to Ghana’s only goal of the match against the Palancas Negras of Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
