Asante Kotoko SC midfielder Richard Boadu was full of praise for Cameroonian striker, Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga after his goal sinked West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) SC last Saturday.
The former Medeama SC player was in ecstacy following Kotoko’s first ever win over the Academy Boys in Sogakope at the Red Bull Arena in the Volta Region.
He revealed a previous chart between him and his colleague asking him to score in the game against WAFA before the matchday away from home.
Etouga scored the only goal for the Porcupine Warriors who had suffered two consecutive defeats in their previous matches to grab all three points.
“Thanks my striker❤️ @AsanteKotoko_SC❤️🇵🇪 we move, still focusing 🤲🏾”, he wrote on social media after Etouga’s goal sinked WAFA.
