Bechem United FC star player, Augustine Okrah has condemned the unsporting behavior of team mate, Samuel Osei Kufuor in their Premier League game on Tuesday.
Okrah, who was not happy with Osei Kufuor’s tackle on Asante Kotoko SC starman Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga in the week 19 encounter at the Nana Gyeabour Park in Bechem.
Osei Kufuor stamped on the Kotoko player’s shoulder in an off the ball incident which should have resorted in a red card.
Surprisingly, the referee failed to issue even a yellow card to the player who eventually won the Man-Of-The-Match award after the game.
“Unlucky today but I’m glad everyone enjoyed the game.”
“That incident involving Kuffour & Etouga was avoidable. We made sure he apologised to Etouga”, he wrote on social media.
Okrah was denied a goal by Kotoko shot stopper Ibrahim Danlad in the match.
