Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has continued to impress this season, earning praise not only from fans but also from the national team’s technical staff.

Winfred Schaefer, the Black Stars’ technical advisor, spoke highly of the Hearts of Oak shot-stopper. He said, “Over the past two months, I have been visiting league venues and speaking with coaches and players. The best player I have seen is Benjamin Asare, and he is the Black Stars’ first-choice goalkeeper.” he told Medeama FM.

Fans have also expressed admiration for Asare’s performances this season. One supporter wrote, “Benjamin Asare is unbeatable! Kotoko are the only team to have beaten him so far, and that shows how strong he is.” Another fan added, “Hearts are lucky to have him. He keeps the team in every match with his saves and leadership.”

Asare has played 11 league matches this season, suffering just one defeat in goal. His consistency and calm presence between the posts have made him a key figure for Hearts of Oak and a strong candidate for the Black Stars starting lineup.

With both fans and officials recognizing his talent, Benjamin Asare looks set to remain a crucial player for Ghana as the national team prepares for major upcoming competitions.
