Ghana Black Stars is every Ghanaian football fan’s headache now. It is seven consecutive games and the Black Stars have not won any. In the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast, Ghana exited in the group stages with the Black Stars failing to win any of the three games.
GFA’s Communications Director Henry Twum Asante has assured Ghanaians that the Black Stars will soon bounce back to their best as they need massive patience and support from Ghanaians.
“The Black Stars will be
well-positioned to compete very soon. Let’s all remain calm as the new team works assiduously to get us back to where we belong,” said Henry Asante Twum in an interview on Akoma FM.
Otto Addo is the leader of the new team and a lot is expected from his second coming. Many Ghanaians are expecting Black stars to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup resume in June with Ghana making a short trip to Bamako to face Mali.
