Vision FC head coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang has praised his players following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Nations FC in Week 16 of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
The Tema-based side secured all three points at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, thanks to Setsofia Aqetey’s first-half strike, ending a seven-match winless run and lifting Vision FC to 12th place on the league table with 18 points — just one behind their visitors.
Speaking after the win, Agyemang eulogized his squad’s performance and highlighted the balance between experienced players and emerging talents.
“The boys did a great job. We have a very full team. Some of them are a bit exposed while others are coming in as greenhorns. This is the best you get in terms of developing talents. Sometimes you falter and sometimes you win, there is always that imbalance,” he said.
The coach also emphasized his team’s readiness to compete consistently in the Ghana Premier League and expressed hope that this victory will spark a positive run of results.
“I think the boys have shown that they are ready and can play in the Premier League. They fought very hard and we are proud of them. We are hoping that this will be one game that kickstarts more wins because we’ve got difficult games coming up,” Agyemang added.
With confidence boosted by the victory over Nations FC, Vision FC now look ahead to their next matches with renewed ambition, determined to climb further up the league standings.
