Esperance Sportive de Tunis will host Al Ahly in the first leg of the CAF Champions League on Saturday in Rades.

These two sides’ encounters are very tight so a crunch clash is anticipated by African Football fanatics.

Ahead of the game, Al Ahly striker Wessem Abou Ali has disclosed how important the final is to him.

“The CAF Champions League final will be the most important match in my life so far, my dream is to win it in my first season here at Al Ahly,” revealed the 25-year-old Wessam Abou Ali.

Born to Palestinian parents in Denmark, the 6 ft 1in forward is little by little finding his feet in Cairo with Al Ahly.

After signing a 4-and-a-half-year contract in January 2024 with Al Ahly in a deal worth €2 million from Ik Sirius in Sweden, the expectation is very high for the former Denmark youth player.

Al Ahly will be looking to win a record 12th CAF Champions League against Esperance with the first leg set to be played on Saturday at the Stade Hammadi Agrebi in Rades.
