Ghana Goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi, has reacted to his team St. Gallen FC victory over FC Basel last Thursday.
The lanky goalie started and lasted the full 90 minutes of the match.
Swiss-born Ghanaian attacker Kwadwo Baah was again in top form for St. Gallen in the Swiss Super League as he scored and also set up an assist in their 2-2 stalemate against FC Basel on Thursday night.
The 25-year old forward was simply unplayable as he helped his his side to pick a point in the crucial game.
Ati-Zigi took to Twitter to react to his team’s stalemate.
Swiss international Jérémy Bruno Guillemenot opened the scoring in the 2oth minute after being set up expertly by Kwadwo Duah.
In the 22nd minute, Jérémy Bruno Guillemenot also set up Kwadwo Duah to extend St. Gallen’s lead to 2-0 at the St. Jakob-Park.
Russian international Fedor Chalov, however, bagged a brace in the 56th and 83rd minutes to salvage FC Basel from defeat.
