Former Ghana striker Felix Aboagye insists there is too much pressure on Mohamed Salah in the Egyptian national team shirt.
The ex Zamalek star maintains that all the burden is on the Liverpool striker and that is affecting the Pharaoh’s at the AFCON.
“Egypt didn’t perform badly, but winning by just one goal in each match is not enough,” he told Al-Oula TV.
“Everyone depends on Mohamed Salah to score goals, which puts a lot of pressure on the Liverpool player.
“I expect Cameroon or Nigeria to win the Africa Cup of Nations,” he added.
Egypt will face Ivory Coast on Wednesday, January 26, in a round of sixteen encounter.
