Asante Kotoko defeated Berekum Chelsea 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium thanks to Steve Mukwala’s first-half goal.
In a post-match interview, Christopher Enning, the coach of Berekum Chelsea expressed his displeasure regarding the performance of the referee.
“It was quite a good game but I don’t normally talk about officiating. The referee did not make the game the way it was supposed to go, he said.
“It is very bad, I have never spoken about officiating but in fact, I’m not happy”.
On the team’s performance, Chris said, ” They did not really play to my instructions. We still have to work. Playing away to Kotoko is not all that easy”.
“We need to accept the results, go back and then bounce back, continued the coach.
“I really do not know what is happening because tactically, indiscipline was part of it and then we lost the game to them” said Christopher Ennin when quizzed about his team’s lack of concentration
On Chelsea’s next game against Great Olympics. Christopher Ennin said, ” In Berekum, I’m gonna get it right like the way Kotoko got it right this evening”.
