Otto Addo– Ghana’s Head Coach, has reacted to the Black Stars Group H defeat to Portugal on Thursday in the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana, were handed 3:2 loss by Cristiano Ronaldo‘s Portugal.
Ronaldo scored from the spot after recess to put Portugal ahead after he was fouled in the box by Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu, a decision the former Ghana international disagrees.
He expressed his displeasure after the referee’s decision during the post-conference.
“The referee gave a penalty which was not a penalty. Everyone saw that. Why? Because it’s Ronaldo or something?” He quizzed
“If somebody scores a goal, congratulations. But this was really a gift. A special gift from the referee.” Otto Addo concluded.
