Ex-Ghana star Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu says the Black Stars face a gloomy future following their defeat to Sudan on Tuesday in the AFCON qualifiers.
Ghana fell 2-0 to the Falcons of Jediane at the Martyrs of February Stadium on Tuesday after the first leg had ended in a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium four days earlier.
Sudan’s Ahmed Hamed Mahmoud and Mohammed Abdelrahman scored two quick goals, sealing the victory for their team against a porous Ghana side.
Reacting to the defeat, Agyemang-Badu, who previously played for Asante Kotoko and Udinese Calcio, expressed his dismay, stating, “The team is doomed,” during an interview with Accra-based Onua FM.
The Black Stars are scheduled to return to action in November for their final Group F matches.
