Karela United coach Abukari Damba has reiterated his primary goal of securing maximum points in every match throughout the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
Under Damba’s guidance, the Pride and Passion lads have shown impressive form, with three wins, one draw, and one defeat since he assumed leadership before the second half of the season commenced.
Despite their current position in 15th place with 27 points after 22 matches, Damba remains focused on steering the team away from relegation.
In an interview on Kessben FM in Kumasi, the former Ghana international stressed the importance of approaching each game with a winning mentality to ensure the team’s survival.
“Every game that I play, I always look at the next game, and you can only be as good in your next game. For me, I’m taking it game by game, and I will always attack every game as seriously as I approach every single game. The three points is always my focus in every game,” he emphasized.
Karela United’s next challenge awaits them as they travel to Sunyani to take on Bofoakwa Tano in matchweek 23 of the domestic top-flight campaign on Sunday.
