Ghana striker Majeed Abdul Waris has slammed the Black Stars following their abyssal performance at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations ongoing in Cameroon.
Ghana, four-time African Champions, have failed to win any of their two games which has led them in a dicey situation to make it out of the group.
Ghana now have to beat Comoros massively in their last group C game at before they can stand a chance to progress to the next stage of the tournament.
And Waris, a former Nantes striker claims a lot of things must change starting from the top hierarchy of Ghana Football Association to how players are called up to represent the national teams ahead of major tournaments.
“Until we are not scared to do the right things, the value will always be the same,” he tweeted.

Prior to the start of the tournament, there were a lot of concerns around the selection of some players including Dreams FC defender Philimon Baffour, Benjamin Tetteh and Richmond Boakye Yiadom.
Ghana have always qualified from the group stage of the Afcon since 2008.
