Ghana Football Association’s deputy secretary Alex Asante says there’s no division between the Black Stars players as portrayed by many Ghanaians.
There’s been a talk about devision of players at the senior national team for a very long time but the deputy secretary believes that is not the case.
“Some players want to always be moving along with other players because of their closeness but I can say there are no divisions among the players in camp.”
“Sometimes the media report that there is a division between Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew but they are always cool in camp and for me, there is no division.”
Ghana has been awful at recent tournaments including placing last at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon and during the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar respectively.
Many Football enthusiasts has attributed Ghana’s failure at tournaments and inability to win a trophy to the said player politics which has vehemently being thrashed by the GFAs deputy secretary.
