Ghana forward Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer, says his side Hamburg suffered massive defeat to RB Leipzig in the DFB Pokal on Tuesday because the latter were ‘brutally efficient’.
Hamburg were kicked out of the competition by the Bundesliga side after being whipped 4-0 at the Red Bull Arena.
Goals from Mohamed Simakan, Benjamin Henrichs and Yusuf Poulsen’s brace, gave the Bundesliga side a commanding victory.
Speaking after the game, Yeboah, who enjoyed 76 minutes of the game, admonished his side to learn from the big loss.
“You saw today why RB plays in the Bundesliga. They were brutally efficient and punished our mistakes coldly. We have to learn from that.” He said.
The 21-year-old been made 12 caps this season for Hamburg, netting five times.
He could make Ghana’s Black Stars squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
