Ghana international Christopher Baah Bonsu delivered an emotional moment after dedicating his goal against Al Shabab to his late mother.
The Black Stars winger featured for the entire match as Al Qadsiah played out a 2-2 draw in a competitive Saudi Pro League encounter on Tuesday night.
Baah Bonsu played a key role in the contest, getting on the scoresheet to help his side secure a point in a tightly contested game.
Following the match, the former KRC Genk attacker took to social media to honour his late mother, who passed away in 2024.
“I will never lose your essence. This one is for you mama,” he wrote in a heartfelt message on Instagram.
The winger has been in impressive form this season, contributing three goals and eight assists in 27 league appearances, establishing himself as an important figure for Al Qadsiah.
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching, Baah Bonsu will be aiming to maintain his strong performances as he pushes to secure a place in Ghana’s squad for the global tournament.
