Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has urged his teammates to work extra harder against Sporting CP Lisbon today at the Emirates stadium in North London.
The midfielder is anticipating a tough game against the Green and Whites outfit as they battle for a place in the quarter final of the 2022-23 UEFA Europa League.
“The team is really working hard, we go game after game and every game is important for us.
“We try to give our best and try to win every game as we can and at the end we need to earn the right to win every game.
“The team is working hard to be able to win the game.
“I think we have to work harder as I said, I think we have to earn the right to win every game so I think that is what we are going to do, keep working hard, doing our things right and we will be able to win.” Thomas Partey said.
The Gunners currently lead the 2022/23 English Premier League table with 66 points, five better than second placed Manchester City with 27 games played between them.
The first leg in Portugal ended in a pulsating 2-2 draw in a game the Gunners should have won with ease.
