Three Ghanaian footballers have celebrated major league title victories this season, showcasing their talent and contributions in different European leagues.
Seth Paintsil won his first career league title with Hamrun Spartans in Malta. The 27-year-old forward played a crucial role, scoring seven goals in 27 appearances to help Hamrun secure the championship.
Bernard Tekpetey was pivotal for Ludogorets, scoring ten goals in 30 matches to help the team clinch the Bulgarian league title. This is the second league title for the 26-year-old Ghanaian since joining Ludogorets three seasons ago, where he has consistently been an important player.
Former Chelsea defender Baba Rahman was instrumental in PAOK’s Greek Super League title win. Rahman contributed significantly with five goals and three assists, helping PAOK achieve a 2-1 victory over Aris in the decisive match. His fine form this season is partly due to his decision to step back from national duty, allowing him to focus on his club performance.
These players have not only brought glory to their clubs but have also made Ghana proud with their impressive achievements.
