Three local coaches from the Ghana Premier League have arrived in Abu Dhabi as Ghana continues with preparation for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.
Former Accra Hearts of Oak SC head coach Samuel Boadu is one of the coaches who were selected from the local scene for the Mundial.
Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has also landed in Black Stars camp in Abu Dhabi ahead of tomorrow’s friendly against Switzerland.
Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko has also arrived at the Black Stars camp.
“Three local coaches (Narteh-Ogum, Boadu, Tanko) arrived this morning in Doha on working attachment.”
“The trip will give them an opportunity to pick useful lessons from the biggest global showpiece and learn from the Black Stars Technical team”, the FA Tweeted.
Ghana will start their 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign with a game against European giant Portugal on November 24 at Stadium 974 in Doha.
Four days later, the Black Stars return to action with a clash against the Asian powerhouse South Korea at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan.
The Black Stars who are making their fourth FIFA appearance will end their group stage campaign with a clash against Uruguay at Al Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah.
