Former Asante Kotoko and Al Hilal Oumdurman left-back Ibrahim Imoro has been given an invitation by Young Africans to train with the squad to improve his fitness for a potential move to the Dar es Salaam giants.
News from East Africa says that Yanga is planning life after Mutambala Lomalisa, a Congolese left-back who joined from Sagrada in 2022.
Ibrahim Imoro, 24, parted ways with Al Hilal Omdurman in 2023 after a stellar CAF Champions League campaign due to political unrest in Sudan.
Imoro is one of the highly talented left-backs on the continent as he proved in Ghana for Asante Kotoko and in Sudan for Al Hilal. He joined Al Hilal in August 2022 in a deal worth $150,000.
Per reports, Young Africans will likely sign Imoro who they see as a long-term replacement for Lomalisa.
Yanga has been sensational in the ongoing Tanzanian league and the CAF Champions League as they will learn their opponent in the quarter-finals of the CCL on Tuesday.
