As reported by Saber Desfarges, Ligue 1 clubs Lille and Clermont are yet to reach a full agreement over the sale of Clermont striker Mohamed Bayo.
It was earlier reported that the transfer was close to being sorted with the Guinea international, who managed 14 goals and five assists in Ligue 1 this season as Clermont narrowly avoided relegation in the club’s first ever top flight campaign, set to fly to Lille on Monday.
However, although an agreement has been reached over personal terms between LOSC and the 24-year-old player, Clermont are yet to sign off on a fee agreement, with an amount of nearly €15m being talked about for the player after Lille fell €4m short of Clermont’s asking price earlier in the week.
Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin were also reported as interested in signing the player this summer.
