We are approaching that time of the year when transfer rumours become the order of the day. It was revealed on Sunday that Liverpool are ready to activate Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus’ £85M release clause from Westham United.
On Monday on the “Here We Go Podcast” with the transfer connoisseur Fabrizio Romano, Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen is set to leave Napoli even though he renewed his contract in December 2023 until 2026.
The Nigeria striker will have suitors, especially PSG and Chelsea. PSG’s bonafide star Kylian Mbappe will leave at the end of the season and the Paris-based club would love to replace him with a big name especially now that they have confirmed that they will save €200M with the departure of Mbappe.
Chelsea has been a key admirer of the Nigerian star and many believe he will be the final piece in Pochettino’s jigsaw.
Napoli paid €70 million for Osimhen’s signature from French side Lille and they are expected to sell him for at least €130 million.
