Dutch Eredisie side PSV Eindhoven will offer Liverpool target Cody Gakpo an improved deal to keep him for another year, according to Voetbalprimeur.
The Netherlands international, 23, has scored 21 goals in all competitions this season to win the Dutch Footballer of the Year award. He’s also lifted the Dutch Cup this term and has previously won the Eredivisie title and Dutch Super Cup – and he has four senior caps.
Gakpo has reportedly been offered a chuck of his future transfer fee if he stays at PSV for another year. That could be a substantial amount of money coming his way, as he’s valued at £34m.
English Premier League Champions Manchester City and Arsenal are also reportedly interested in the talent, who still has four years remaining on his existing deal after signing an extension in January.
