TRANSFERS : Ghana defender Djiku on the wish list of Rennes

In search of a central defender to compensate for the official departure of Nayef Aguerd to West Ham , Stade Rennais has already studied several options (Jason Denayer of Lyon and Ghana defender Alexander Djiku).

Djiku’s contract at Strasbourg ends next season and Sevilla who are on the verge of selling Jules Kounde to Chelsea are also interested in the Black Stars center back.

Strasbourg offered Djiku a contract extension but the intelligent defended rejected the offer as he pushes for a move to an advanced club.
