Olympique Marseille are currently not in negotiations to sign Cristiano Ronaldo and this is according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Pablo Longoria, disappointed with the rumours as Marseille are trying to build completely different project.
It was thought that the Ligue 1 side could add Ronaldo to a front three that already includes Dimitri Payet and Alexis Sanchez. Marseille can also offer the Portuguese megastar Champions League football, which was believed to be Ronaldo’s key factor in leaving United.
However, Marseille appear to have made clear they won’t be making a move for the 37-year-old. But it hasn’t stopped fans and local legends from pleading with Ronaldo to make the move to southern France.
