Salim Adams has urged his teammates at Medeama SC to quickly move past their victory over Bibiani Gold Stars and focus on their next crucial fixture in the Ghana Premier League.
Adams was the standout performer in Sunday’s clash, scoring a superb brace to secure an important win that has strengthened Medeama’s position in the title race.
Despite the significance of the result, the midfielder emphasized the need for discipline and focus, warning against excessive celebrations as the season approaches its final stretch.
“Since last week, I’ve been telling my teammates to treat every match as a final. This game is in the past now. Our next match is against Berekum Chelsea. We need to move on from this and think about that game,” he said after the match.
Medeama now turn their attention to their Week 32 encounter against Berekum Chelsea, scheduled for Wednesday, May 6.
