Daniel Nii Adjei, a former midfielder for Asante Kotoko, has expressed his admiration for his former teammate Jordan Opoku, naming him the best player he played with.
During his time at Asante Kotoko from 2007 to 2011 and in the 2018-2019 season when Opoku rejoined the team for his third stint, Nii Adjei shared the dressing room with the attacking midfielder.
Looking back on his experiences at Asante Kotoko, Nii Adjei, who left the club in 2019, praised Jordan Opoku for his exceptional qualities on the field.
Nii Adjei took to his official Facebook page to celebrate and acknowledge Jordan Opoku, hailing him as a true football genius and the best midfielder he has played with. He extended his respect and admiration towards his former teammate.

During his time with Asante Kotoko, Jordan Opoku achieved remarkable success, winning numerous trophies, including two Ghana Premier League titles. He also played a pivotal role in the club’s journey to the money zone in African inter-club competitions in 2008 together with Nii Adjei.
Nii Adjei himself has transitioned into coaching and currently serves as the head coach of Elmina Shark’s women’s team, Sea Lions, further demonstrating his continued involvement in the sport.
