True Democracy FC has been fined GHS 30,000 and given a strong warning by the Disciplinary Committee after misconduct during their Access Bank Division One League match against Port City FC.
The decision followed an investigation into the conduct of the club’s supporters during the match. The committee found that the behaviour of some fans was inappropriate and went against league rules.
As a result, True Democracy FC was held responsible and punished accordingly. The warning serves as a final notice to the club to ensure better control and discipline among its supporters in future matches.
Football authorities have reminded all clubs to educate their fans on proper behaviour to help maintain peace and fairness in the league.
