Ghanaian midfielder Owusu Kwabena has officially joined Sakaryaspor, giving the club a major boost in wide attacking areas as they push on in the Trendyol 1. Lig race for survival.

The 28-year-old joins the Turkish side from Israeli side Maccabi Bnei Reina, where he featured regularly this season and showcased the speed and direct style that first put him on Sakaryaspor’s radar.

Owusu is most comfortable on the left flank and is known for his pace, vertical runs, and ability to attack defenders in one-on-one situations, attributes the coaching staff value highly for the team’s transition game.

✍️ Kulübümüz, Owusu Kwabena ile anlaşmaya varmıştır. Kendisine Yeşil-Siyah formamız altında başarılar dileriz.

At Maccabi Bnei Reina, he made 15 league appearances and scored twice, but his overall influence went beyond goals thanks to his off-the-ball movement and work rate.

The experienced Ghanaian brings a rich CV, having played in Spain, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Turkey, and Israel for clubs including Toledo, Real Oviedo, Cartagena, Salmantino, MKE Ankaragücü, and Maccabi Bnei Reina.

With his blend of European and Turkish league experience, Owusu is expected to become a key attacking weapon for Sakaryaspor on the wings in the second half of the season.
