Ibrahim Tanko says the Black Meteors will be playing for all three points when they face Guinea in their last group game at the ongoing U-23 Africa Cup of Nations.
After being hammered 5-1 against Morocco on Tuesday night, Ghana drops to third on the standings in Group A, behind Guinea due to goal difference.
The Black Meteors will need to win at all costs if they are to progress to the semi-finals of the competition as anything aside a win will see them exit the competition.
Speaking at the press conference after Tuesday’s battering, Tanko said his team will be preparing for victory against the Guineans.
“Both teams want to go to the next stage so both teams are going to prepare very well for the game,” he said.
“I can only talk about my team because I don’t know what the Guineans want but definitely, we want to win to go to the next stage.”
The Black Meteors’ next game is on Friday, June 30, with kick-off slated for 8pm.
