Ghanaian forward Osman Bukari provided an assist in his team’s defeat in the UEFA Champions League playoffs first leg away in Israel to Maccabi Haifa.
The Ghanaian forward played exceptionally well in the first half of the match, tormenting his opponent with his blistering pace and power.
After his team fell to an early goal, the Ghanaian was heavily involved in his team’s equalizer after proving the pre assist to make it 1-1.
He also had a great opportunity to make it 2-1 to the visitors moments later but blasted his effort way over the cross bar from inside the box.
He later set up midfielder Guelor Kanga to scored the second goal five minutes to the end of the first half to give the away team the lead at the break.
He was substituted and replaced by Stefan Mitrovic and one minute later his team conceded the third goal after throwing away their lead early in the second half.
It ended 3-2 to Maccabi Haifa as Bukari and his team will need a two-goal margin win to make it to the group stages of the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League competition.
