The Ghanaian contingent at Moldovan champions FC Sheriff will face Bosnian outfit Zrinjski in the first preliminary round of the 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League.
Sheriff have four Ghanaian players in their fold namely Razak Abalora, Basit Khaled, Patrick Kpozo and Edmund Addo though the latter is likely to move out.
Sheriff will play the first match away on July 5th or 6th with the return match scheduled for Tiraspol on July 12th or 13th.

Sheriff were the surprise package in last season’s UEFA Champions League as they made it to the Group stage for the first tome in their history and even beat eventual winners Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu.
