In Group F, 28-year-old Algerian left-back Ramy Bensabaini was an unused substitute in Dortmund’s crucial 2-0 win over Newcastle in the early kick-off at the Signal Uduna Park. Dortmund now tops the group with 7 points.

In the other game of the group,  Achraf Hakimi played the whole duration for PSG against AC Milan but was beaten by Olivier Giroud’s powerful header in the 50th minute. PSG is second with a point behind leaders Dortmund. Nigeria’s Samuel Chukueze was also an unused substitute for AC Milan.

In Group G,  8 players were in the BSC Young Boys’ team that lost 3-0 to Manchester City. Congolese international Elia Meshack played 77 minutes, Guinean international Mohammed Camara, the skipper for Young Boys,  enjoyed the entire 90 minutes, Gambian international Saidy Janko played 64 minutes and Senegalese defender Cheikh Niasse also played the whole 90 minutes.

19-year-old Zambian defender Miguel Chaiwa and Republic of Congo’s forward Silvere Ganvoula enjoyed some minutes from the bench while Gambian Ebrima Colley and Jeanne Pierre Nsame of Cameroon were unused substitutes.

Seven players were in Crvena Zvezda’s squad that lost 2-1 at home to RB Leipzig. Osman Bukari,  Naser Djiga, Guelor Kanga, and Jean Phillipe Grasso all started for the home side. Peter Olayinka and Cherif Ndiaye came on in the second half while Kings Kangwa was not used.
