Real Madrid take on Chelsea at the Santiago Bernebeu for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie on Tuesday night and Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has spoken very high of the striker Karim Benzema.
The French attacker is having a great season having scored 37 goals across all competitions so far including 11 targets in the Champions League.
Casimiro on Karim Benzema:
“Only the number of goals he is scoring has changed; he has taken an incredible step. Everything else remains the same. We see everything he does day by day. He is part of the history of this club. It is an honour to have him by our sides. He is the most important player we have right now.”
Madrid go into tonight’s clash with a two-goal advantage as they won the first leg 3-1 at the Stamford Bridge.
