Ukrainian top-tier club FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih has successfully secured the services of two Ghanaian talents, Konadu Yiadom and Prince Kwabena Adu.
Yiadom, aged 23, has joined the club in Kryvyi Rih from Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak on a season-long loan. The towering center-back made his move to the Phobians in August 2022 from WAFA SC. During the previous season, he featured in 20 matches across all competitions for Hearts and scored twice.
Additionally, Yiadom was part of the Ghana squad that competed in the 2022 CHAN tournament in Algeria, where he played in all matches for the Black Galaxies.
On the other hand, 19-year-old Kwabena Adu has signed a four-year contract with Kryvbas on transfer deadline day, joining the club as a free agent. He became a free agent after departing from Belarusian Premier League side FC Isloch.
Kwabena Adu’s arrival in Belarus in February of the same year was marked by instant success, as he scored six goals and provided three assists in 14 league matches. He also contributed two goals and one assist in two appearances in the Belarusian Cup.
Both players are expected to arrive in Ukraine in the coming days to commence training with their new team, following the completion of all necessary transfer formalities on Friday.
