U.S Men’s National Team manager, Gregg Berhalter, has said that the international friendlies against Germany and Ghana come as an important building block ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Berhalter has announced a 23-player USMNT training camp squad for the upcoming top -class friendlies against Ghana and Germany.
Speaking after naming his squad for the games later this month, he said the selection was based on continuity and team chemistry building.
“In line with our long-term strategic approach towards 2026, we have a great opportunity to play against two world-class opponents and continue to progress our group of players,” Berhalter mentioned.
“We are focused on selecting strong rosters and maintaining continuity as much as possible, and this is another important building block.”
