Hearts of Oak Public Relations Officer, Kwame Opare Addo, has emphasized that the club is fully focused on their next fixture against Vision FC, putting their recent 2-0 victory over Medeama SC behind them.
The Phobians returned to winning ways on Friday night at the Tarkwa TNA Stadium, securing a surprising win over Medeama following an unexpected 1-0 loss to league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars, which ended their five-match unbeaten run.
As they turn their attention to the upcoming Round 10 clash with Vision FC on Friday, November 8, 2024, Opare Addo stressed the club’s commitment to continuous improvement and solid team development. “What we started from day one is what we are continuing on,” Opare Addo told Asempa FM. “We are still making sure that this young team will continue to progress match after match so we get the solid foundation we want while we go through the competition.”
Despite the momentum from the Medeama win, Opare Addo made it clear that the team’s focus remains on the future: “We have put the victory over Medeama aside and began preparing for the Vision FC game. Everyone will be there again to support the team as we continue to move on stage after stage.”
Currently sitting eighth on the Ghana Premier League table with 12 points from three victories, three defeats, and three draws, Hearts of Oak will aim to climb the standings with a strong performance against Vision FC.
